Hi there!
My name is Merel and I am a student from Belgium. I am living in pretty little Brussels, which is the best city in Belgium! Currently I am doing my Master's in French to try and better myself (does it ever end ;)?) I am an annoyingly curious person and would love to meet new people and get to know new things in life, now is the perfect time to discover the world. Why wait, right?
Soon i am leaving for Tehran, Iran to do an internship with some awesome people and I am sooooooo excited about that!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am just new on couchsurfing. But I made this profile because I have shared some really good experiences with friends I joined when they were being hosted by couch surfers. I think this is a really cool way to get to know locals and people who also like travelling and maybe have a same mindset in life. I am also kind of a "voyeur" which means that I like to see how people are living and what somebody else's life looks like, I am a very curious person ;)!So what better way to do a all of this than through couchsurfing?
Recently we (my mom and I) started to host people in our home too and I really love to have people over as much as when I am visiting them.

Interessen

I love to run (though i am not a very good runner), I also love animals and being in nature so horseback riding was the perfect combination for me :)! Cooking and trying new things in the kitchen are also one of my favorite things to do. And of course travelling the world and seeing/experiencing new things!
And definitely interested in people, fascinating creatures...
