Hi there!
I haven't been using this platform for a long time, but during covid-19 times I figured I'd give it another go.
For the last couple of years I have been traveling, working and volunteering in Latin America. Most of my time I spent in Ecuador, Guatemala and Venezuela. These experiences taught me a lot about different cultures and about myself. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, I had to return to the Netherlands. I recently accepted a job at a large company, by which I am planning to save money in order to travel again in the future.
Whenever it is possible, however, I would like to do some weekend escapes through Europe. So here I am!
Also, I would like to work from abroad for a while. I work from home and I would enjoy doing this from another country.
I am a spontaneous and open-minded person, somewhat idealistic. I am easygoing and I love to meet new people. Like many of us here, I am not looking for the 'normal' future that might be expected of me at this age. I am open to new adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my previous travels I have realized that the best way of getting to know a country and a culture, is through the locals. That is why I would love to join couchsurfing.
In return , I can offer some deep conversations, fun evenings playing games or watching Netflix, and I might cook you a nice meal (not a chef, but I like to try).

I recently moved to Utrecht and planning to start hosting people too!

Interests

I love hiking and being out and about in nature. I also enjoy going out for a drink with friends or to go dancing. I dance salsa, bachata and kizomba.

When it comes to music I like latin and pop, but I also love 70s and 80s. Especially soul/disco :)
