Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling Asia and Europe, looking to meet new people and share stories.
ABOUT ME
I am originally from New York but moved to San Francisco 6 years ago to study photography. I came to Bangkok in April 2011 to teach English and stayed for a year and a half. I am now back in the Bay Area. Aside from traveling, I love to go to music festivals and meet new people. I have also been told I am quite funny. If you like dry, sarcastic humor (well Woody Allen is my idol) then we will get along.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in Karma.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I really enjoy the whole couch surfing experience. I have hosted more than I have surfed but I have met some awesome people and had some great times with them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a number of couchsurfers from all of the world. Mainly people I have met while traveling, not from couchsurfing but also several from couch surfing. Places like the Netherlands, Austria, Norway, Australia, South Africa and the USA. They call my apartment a hostel because every week there is a new person on my couch :)I like helping people out and showing them around. I am here to answer any of your questions.
Interests
I am interested in movies, photography, art, trying new food and live music festivals. Pretty generic but true. Oh and I forgot to mention coffee!

Music, Movies, and Books
There are so many but a few movies would be Momento, The Shining, Annie Hall, The Departed and anything by Pedro Almodivar. Musicians: Anything from folk and classic rock, to rap and electronic. My favorite books would be The Great Gatsby and On the Road.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I suppose I am just grateful to have been able to travel and meet new people from all over the world. One of the best things I have done was visit an orphanage set up by an NGO in Cambodia. I related to the children because I am a teacher for students in Thailand that are their age.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy meeting people from different places and people who have done interesting things in their lives. I always learn from people who have done a lot of traveling and have tried different things along the way. People who can give me tips on things to do and places to go. I find those people inspiring
