About Me

few little things I’ve done in the past 3 years: volunteering in a school in Tanzania, traveling Africa by myself, working at factories in England, cleaning the university of Brighton (UK), managing the digital marketing department of a 5* resort in Jamaica for 1 year, living in the Caribbean, living and opening a smoothie bar in Sri Lanka, backpacking India by myself for 6 months, becoming a yoga teacher, teaching yoga on beaches around the world, waitressing at bars and restaurants on beaches around the world, publishing a poetry book, living in an ashram, traveling South Asia by myself, coming back home walking 200km of El Camino de Santiago as a pilgrim to re-discover my roots... I am a very sensitive and emphatic person, love to discover new stories around the world and get inspired by people I meet on my way. I wouldn’t change any single moment of these past 4 years living on the move, not even the tough and hear broken ones, because they made me what I am today.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don’t use it for a few years now, but I’m currently moving to Australia to start a new life and don’t know much people here, I think is a good opportunity to be in couchsurfing again as it would be a great way of meeting new people, learning about the country and it’s culture and get inspired by whoever I find on my way :-) it’s not about saving money or getting “free accommodation” as I’m working on remote for 2 Australian companies (managing digital marketing), so I just want to make some friends and meet nice people to hang out with!

Interests

For the past 2 years the yoga practice and Indian culture are my main passions!! (L) I am also a yoga teacher and practice Buddhist meditation almost everyday :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't live without music and books. As a journalist and writer, I always have a book with me, and also I love poetry and historical novels. My favorite book ever is Shantaram, could talk about it for hours when I find another Shantaram adict ;)
I really appreciate good music and I listen many different styles of music, but my favorite is rock and roll, folk and country music. Also I like reggae so much! one of my favorite things is listen live music, let’s hang out in a gig!
