ABOUT ME

i'm outgoing and love exploring and meeting people everywhere. i hope to see as much of the world as possible before settling down a little bit somewhere that feels like home

in the last few years, i have quit drinking, smoking, cut down on caffeine, and hope to be more conscious of eating meat if not adopting a vegetarian diet. i am LGBTQ+-friendly, a BLM ally, and respect everyone's choices in all of the things i mentioned here. just because i don't drink doesn't mean i don't like to have fun! i love to dance even if i am not very good :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i started as a surfer around 2008, enjoying seeing new places and meeting people. it wasn't until i surfed solo in Seattle when i really felt connected to the community. now i host until i travel again

Intereses

learning languages and how to cook! i want to learn how to sail, if you have any pointers or have time to go out on the water :) i prefer to travel by land or water instead of flying; it is better for mother earth, and i want to do my part to take care of her

jumped into the ligurian sea with friends i met in the mountains

traveled 6 weeks through Europe during the 2018 world cup, watching matches in the streets, at cafés, and hostels in 10+ countries, sharing moments with people from all over the world

i studied wildlife biology long ago, and nothing makes me happier than being outside, seeing new plants and birds and even the creepy crawly bugs. i will teach what i am able to remember, and will always be an enthusiastic student to learn more
