ABOUT ME

Hello I'm Maria Concetta Immè, but my friends call me Meri Ketty. I've been waiting two years before going to the uni and now I'm studying Cultural Goods in Catania. I do like a lot analog photography and especially street ph. and for this reason I'd like to travel a lot to experience new realities. I'm a bit shy but I try hard not to be one when I'm out travelling . I'm an independent person but I like to get to know new people and relate with them as I'm interested in anything I don't know.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an indipendent person, I love to stay with my friends but also having time alone. I don't like people too much possessive and closeminded. I believe in meritocracy.

Interests

Taking pictures and develop my own films since I've made my darkroom. I even like a lot photos from other people as I can always learn from them and I like pictures anyway ahah
I do like movies as well and I watch a lot of them whenever I got time, I like Oi and punk music and every kind of visual arts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Oi, punk and reggae music. My favourite movies are "Slacker" by Richard Linklater and "King of comedy" by Martin Scorsese, and my favourite book is one from the firsts by Hemingway "The torrents of spring".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month in Ireland, in Wexford. I really enjoyed it. While I was there I visited Dublin. This city is great, it is the most beautiful city I've ever seen.
In 2012 I've been working in Scotland as an au pair, it was amazing. I made lots of friends, learned to speak a better english and had a great time both walkings in the nature and drinking beers at the pub.

Teach, Learn, Share

Italian culture and expecially the sicilian one, I lived and still live on the island. I can show around the best spots in the city, some nice walks or even just a good beer.
