Resumen
Sobre mí
[[Sorry but I have to add this first: I do not live in Amsterdam!! And please write more abt yourself in your request then "You look nice I want to stay at your couch." Thanks :) ]]
About me :) > I think my friends would describe me as outgoing, extravert, positive and enjoying live, but also sensitive, reflective and a thinker. I'd like to think that I'm also very trustworthy, reliable, and have a good listening ear :)
I grew up in Gouda, the city of cheese, but besides feeling a little cheesy at times (joke!) I have no strong bond with the place. Utrecht is now what I call my hometown, although getting a taste of Valencia and Trondheim as cities I lived in made me realise that I am not bound to one place. As I am still "growing up" (it feels like it!), the whole world suddenly feels like a possibility to live! I'd love to hear about the places you have been, and who knows: I might end up there :)
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
To host or to be hosted! I absolutely love sleepovers, pyjama parties, being a host, taking people for a beer and enjoying the good life. Thats why I joined couchsuring, and so far it has been great. To me, when surfing but also when hosting, it feels like being on a holiday. Your life slows down a little, and this for me just feels amazing :)
Intereses
I have two 'interests'-sides I like to balance: on the one hand I'm very outgoing; I love to dance and have a weakness for festivals, going out for drinks, meeting with friends, having sleepovers. On the other hand I can also enjoy a real calm night with good wine and talks. It depends on my mood, and the mood of the people I'm with. I can really cope with both sides, and go with the flow.
Besides that, I love to go hiking, being in the nature, doing sports, meditating, relaxing, and watching series, playing my ukulele. I am exploring buddhism/mindfulness, but in a very soft way, and to me it helps me enjoying every moment of every day even more. I am also interested in lifestories, psychology, and enjoy talking about how one sees the world. Doesnt have to be all deep and emotional, but just exchanging thoughts on it I find really interesting!

Algo increíble que he hecho
Wow, this is actually a difficult question to just pop up an answer for. I loved my time in Valencia when I was an au pair and also after I quit as an au pair but stayed there for Spanish courses and loads of fun. I also loved my three short visits to Africa. Just the mindblowing differences with our western world. Something to not be forgotten easily. But I also am 'awestruck' (as CS describes it) by the people I've met and became close friends. I think that people maybe even more than places, can blow you away and surprise you in a positive way. I hope to for ever keep on learning from other peoples opinions and ways of seeing the world.
Other amazing things to me are spring rains, autumn forests, singing to the sea as loud as you can, feeling the sun on your skin, hiking through amazing landscapes or not so amazing landscapes, getting a warm hug, my first technoparty, dancing to feel free, my first retreat, playing the uke and singing, cabin trips in Norway, and so on and so on!
