Hello everyone :)

I'm Merle, 28 years old open-minded woman living in Colonge.

I finished university in february. I studied sports therapy to help children and youth with mental deseases through movement and sports, animals and nature.
Now I am part time working as a movement therapist for children and youth in a psychatry in Cologne. In my freetime I coach Beachvolleyball and I love playing Beachvolleyball myself. Also i started to play Roundnet (Spikeball) one and a half years ago. I enjoy meeting friends to play and also I compete in tournaments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing, because I like it to meet locals while traveling. When I was traveling in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia, the best stays where at someones home, not because it was comfortable, I loved it, because i really got to know the people, the country and the culture.

I like all kinds of music. I enjoy Florence and the Machine, Mumfords and Sons and London Grammar.
My favourite movies are mostly thriller/drama (Blood Diamond, Django)
When I read a book its either a lovestory or for studying horses/dogs/therapy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One Amazing Thing I've Done:
During my work experience in a psychiatry for children and youth I was able to set up a beachvolleyball week in their summer holiday. I loved it to share my favourite sports game with them and see them enjoying it.

One Amazing Thing I would love to do:
I would love to work with animal assited therapy one day.
