About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding what I love, get lost in it - until i may find something else

ABOUT ME

as if someone would write EVERYTHING about himself ;) but okay, let's try...
I'm Merle (nice no?) - it's french and means blackbird. although i'm neither a bird nor black. actually I can imagine both would suit me. ;) nevermind. I'm 21 years old from Germany. My Mom is a lawyer and a politician, my dad the manager of municipal works in the small city I grew up most of the time. So you can guess about me: right, I was the troublemaker, tried out every boundaries to get a clue about my own, moved off from home when I was 16, fled after my A-levels for one year of volunteering in a rehabilitation Center to Tel Aviv. Without any future plans at all. now since I'm back home the ideas come. slowly, but they do. And this feels great, to see the stairs out of the doingnothing-mode.
I loved my time in Tel Aviv, well, in Israel at all. It was an awesome, interesting, defining, sometimes difficult but mostly just joyful time. To have the chance to go wherever you want (well, almost), meet great people, discover other cultures, religions, habits, landscapes, weather, mentality and so on for such a long - but afterwards so short - time was one of the best decisions I ever made. (And I didn't make that much of those yet ,) )I could practise my english and got at least some knowledge about arabic and hebrew as well. need a (very) small talk in hebrew? I'm the girl ;) And even if I didn't realized it that much during my stay and work at the hospital, I've been told how helpful my work was over there. sometimes it's really just a smile, a good morning or knowing somewhen how someone likes to drink his coffee for breakfast...
but for now I just know that I'm not ready to end up at least somewhere especially. I enjoy the time with my friends and my actually pretty huge family ( just to give a hint: 2 sisters, one way older having to sons, one a bit younger and 3 older brothers - any questions?)so I'd say I'm sociable - I learnt to share and stuff ;) - sponanious (sometimes a bit too much:) ) excited in meeting new people and minds no matter where from, a good listener but a pretty good speaker as well ( wow, how long is that text already) I'm not complicated, kinda good with languages, I love to cook, love to have people around me (that's why there's almost always someone here to enjoy my mommy-side) I'm listening to music all the time, love to get lost, but sometimes I need those hours of silence all by myself, get sad and stuff... Since I know a lot of eople and different constellations I'm able to show you berlin from kinda every side you like. exhibitions, theatre, party, the fucked up bar around the corner...
comedy is tragic just from another pont of view. just as hemingway said: live the full live of the mind, ehxhilarated by new ideas, intoxicated by the romance of the unsual. if there are any further questions, feel free to ask.

PHILOSOPHY
