I'm 22 years old and I study psychology in Leiden, Netherlands. After school I spent a year abroad in New Zealand and Australia and this is where I realized how amazing travelling and meeting new people is. I'm looking forward to extending this experience on a semester abroad stay in Honolulu.
I'm an outgoing person and enjoy good converstions, especially when the situation allows to go a little deeper than just scratching the surface of an interesting topic. I love sports so anything related is an activity that I'd definitely be down to share! In general though, I think the amazing thing about meeting a new person is to understand what they are passionate about, so I'm more than happy to be inspired by new amazing things to do!

I really like the concept of couchsurfing to share places to sleep. Sadly i can't host while I'm on my trip but when I'm back in Germany I'll have my own apartment so I can make up for that. I'm really looking forward to get to know new people, experience new lifestyles and to have interesting converations.

Books: I have to read a lot for my studies so unfurtunately I barely have time to read privately. Currently I'm reading "How not to be wrong - the power of mathematical thinking", which is about human biases and how maths actually influences our everyday-life rather than being this theoretical thing from school that you won't ever need again - I can definitely recommend it!

I don't have this one topic that I'm so passionate about that I'll tell you about all night no matter if you're interested or not. I rather listen to what other people are interested in first and then I enjoy sharing my own ideas with them.

In general, I enjoy all kinds of intelectual conversations about societal topics and I care about a healthy lifestyle in terms of sports and nutrition. I do enjoy widening my horizon though and relating to what other people are passionate about.

Having good conversation is something I really enjoy. I love sharing experiences and stories about travelling, well, basically about everything. I'm always interested in peoples interests, cultures and everyday life and so am I ready to share mine.
