I am 19 years old and I grew up in small town in Germany. When I was younger a lot of my friends were always talking about crazy vacations their parents took them on, but my family would just never really go anywhere, except the closest bigger city...
So by the time I was old enough to work for myself I decided to travel as much as I can with the little money I could save up. So here I am trying to meet new people and see as much of the world as possible (clearly on a budget;).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I feel like it's one thing to meet people when traveling, but a totally different experience to live with them for a few days. I think it's a much more intense experience and perfect for learning about another culture.

Interests

I'm always interested in doing something I may not be so comfortable at first with, because that's how you grow. That's also one of the many reasons why I decided to travel so much. I just like challenging myself, no matter if it's a long trail I want to walk, a country I have never been to I want to explore or another person I want to get to know, eventhough we both don't speak the same language.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love watching movies, especially in the cinema. If you'd ask me about my favourite movie it would be really hard for me to decide. I love the classics like "Fight Club", "American Psycho" or "A time to Kill", but there's a lot more I would really recomend. My favourite director is Ari Aster because I love horror movies and his approach to the whole genre, but I also love studio Ghibli because their movies remind me of my childhood.
When it comes to books I'm rather into short stories. I don't read that much, because I'd rather like to write myself, but mostly just for myself or close friends.
For Music I'm always open for new things, but for the most part I lime EDM and Hip Hop. I'm really bad at telling names of different genres but those two are not the only ones I listen to, I just don't really know what the rest is called... But I'm always open for sharing music with others.

Teach, Learn, Share

In my old schools bathroom somebody wrote on the walls "don't take life to seriously, because you'll never get out alife". Till this day I have no idea who wrote it, but passing by this quote in school almost everyday for several years, I just can't forget it and it remains as one of my favourites to this day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I offer taking on a few chores around the house while I'm staying like cleaning or grocery shopping or whatever needs to be done and I also like to cook for other people sometimes. Of course I'll also invite you for a drink or Something like that if you let me crash your couch!
