About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Visit as many places as possible in the US, I'm only there for a year, so I sure as hell am going to make it count!

ABOUT ME

Student, climate advocate, a bookworm and a future scientist. I have been often told that I laugh too much and have a hatred 'range of a teaspoon'.
I'm an Egyptian Muslim, I know it sounds scary at first, but I promise I don't bite.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe I'm on this Earth to create a change, it's the how I'm still working on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a couple of really cool CS experiences. My favourite was my first Thanksgiving dinner experience in 2013 on my 4th month in the US, in Chicago. It was then that I truly understood what CS is about, how love for travel can connect people and cultures.

Interests

From my favourite things in life: travelling, having a deep conversation with someone that I can come out with either new info, ideas or questions. I'm also interested in climate issues, activism in general, books, science, astronomy, books, concerts& gigs, trying out new foods, did I already mention books?, and recently art and politics.

One of my favourite things to do in any city I visit any new city is to let myself get lost, walk around aimlessly, try out a local food place, and strike up a conversation with a random person.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not that big on movies, but I admit to being a huge Potterhead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My proudest achievement to this day is giving two speeches at a United Nations convention in 2012.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of the best travel advice I ever got: 'Always leave a city while you still miss it'.

The best advice I can give to any one wanting to visit Cairo, Egypt: 'Do.NOT.Attempt.To.Drive!'

Countries I’ve Visited

Lebanon, Qatar, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Egypt, United States
