About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life, live in the moment, and meet as many amazing people along the way as I can!
ABOUT ME
How would I describe myself...hmmm. Well I'm currently a wildland firefighter, trying to become a full time chocolatier. I recently bought a house in Wenatchee, WA and don't want to leave, however my job is telling me otherwise. I long to travel and always enjoy meeting new people.
PHILOSOPHY
Live's too short to let anything get in the way of your passions, so get out there!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would enjoy surfing while traveling abroad, and finally just got a house, but will be away from home during the summer due to my job as a wildland firefighter. However, once I get back to Wenatchee next fall I will finally be able to host! Hurray!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed a couple of times while on my trip to Ireland and had nothing but fantastic experiences with the hosts I surfed with. I think as long as you do your research and seek out people you feel you'll connect with there's no reason to have a negative experience couch surfing. I think it's great!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: pretty much into most types of music, though I've been getting into more mellow music these days i.e. Mumford and Sons, Sia, Morcheeba, etc.Movies: I enjoy action, drama, chick flicks, comedy. A few favorites are Liar, Liar; Gladiator; Moulin Rouge; SuperTroopers; Bridesmaids; Shawshank RedemptionBooks: I love to read, though I haven't had as much time lately, have been trying to set aside an hour a night. The Stieg Larsson trilogy, Mists of Avalon Trilogy, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Little Bee.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2004 I was in Rome on a college scholarship, and got the opportunity to see a free Simon 'n Garfunkel concert in front of the Colliseum...it was pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think of myself as a multi-faceted individual with many different talents (I like this term better than "jack of all trades") I've dabbled in computer programming, building desktop computers, knitting, sewing, cooking, chocolatiering, wildland firefighting, hockey, etc. I'm sure there's more but that's all that comes to mind. I would love to teach anyone the basics in any of these skills if they are interested. As for learning, I have an unending thirst for knowledge, so if there is something someone knows that isn't on my list, teach me!
