My name's Merri (very odd name I know!). I work as an Outdoor Instructor (rock climbing, kayaking, hiking etc.). This summer I spent two months in Spain, working for a few weeks and travelling around for the rest. It was a great experience, and I intend to go back as soon as I can. Ireland doesn't have quite as much sunshine or cheap wine!

This September I'm heading to Switzerland for a couple of weeks work, and after that I have no plans. Maybe Austria for a while and then woofing in Germany.

I'm pretty chill and laid back in general. I'm a very easy person to get along with. I hope to meet similar people!

Interests

Rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, anything to do with the outdoors really. I also love playing guitar/ukulele, reading, painting and sketching, cycling, and many other fun things! I can't forget two of my favourite past times either, napping and a glass or two of wine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Loop the loops in a World War Two biplane.
Walked 112km alone, along the Via de la Plata from Ourense to Santiago. It took me four days and it was brilliant.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm qualified in rock climbing and kayaking. I can teach you either of these (equipment depending). I've also been teaching myself guitar for a little over a year, I'm only just starting into music theory now. I'm happy to learn from and share with any other musicians.
