Overview
About Me
I am the Executive Director of a nonprofit in Charlotte that connects lower and middle class residents to affordable housing and wraparound services in the Hidden Valley neighborhood.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people. I also have a newfound love for traveling. I never used to do it because it would be too expensive, but couchsurfing allows me to abandon my fears of the cost and have a more personal experience at the same time. It also gives me the opportunity to host others and show them a bit of Carolina hospitality.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite music consists of mostly Rap, Afrobeats, Blues, and various kinds of Latin music. I like many genres in between, but those are the ones I listen to most often. Favorite music to dance to is Bachata.
Favorite movies are Logan, War for Planet of the Apes, Rush Hour, and the Road to El Dorado.
I'm a big fan of works of magical realism like The House of the Spirits or the The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. I try to read a book a month, usually in audio book form.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
All the responses I have to this are better to be discussed in person
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach hosts and guests how to dance bachata, salsa, and/or merengue. I used to co-instruct those styles at Latin Dance Club when I was in undergrad Clemson University.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share funny life stories and lessons learned. I can also cook a pretty mean breakfast burrito to be shared with all who desire one.
