About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to live a mad, passionate, extraordinary life
ABOUT ME
I'm silly. I'm emotional. I'm loving. I'm insecure. I'm independent. I'm awkward. I randomly burst into song. I think fart jokes are funny. I'm equal parts loud, obnoxious, quiet, and sensitive. I have a crush on William Shatner. I LOVE to go out and go dancing but I look like I'm having an epileptic fit when I dance. I'm afraid of squirrels. I'm a karaoke master. I care about those who are less fortunate, and I plan to save the world someday.
PHILOSOPHY
What things in life bring you the most joy? Pursue those with all your soul.
**I live in suburban Atlanta, on the border of Stone Mountain and Decatur. Traffic in Atlanta is TERRIBLE, so depending on where you need to go and at what time, I am 30-60 minutes from: Emory University, Grady Hospital, Downtown/Midtown Atlanta. I live ~2.5 miles from the Indian Creek MARTA Station, which is very helpful for getting to Downtown/Midtown, esp. for concerts/events**
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since becoming a CS member, I've hosted dozens of surfers, and I've met incredible, lifelong friends through my experiences with CS. It's changed how I travel and how I see the places I visit.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My guests have all been wonderful! They have so many great stories to share about themselves and their life experiences. My hosts have been equally wonderful; the kindest, most generous people I've met in my life. I treasure my CS friendships to an enormous degree.
Interests
people, movies, music, long conversations about nothing and everything, hugs, volunteering, saving the world, laughing as loud as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
music-I have the most random assortment of music on the planet; rock, new wave, motown, show tunes, jazz, blues, indie rock, alternative, oldies, Spanish, reggaeton, classical, world, punk, etc. I'm always open to new music suggestions
movies-whatever makes me laugh
books-ones that aren't overly pretentious. I'm not ashamed to admit that one of my favorite books ever was written by Judy Blume. I'm a big fan of Beat Generation stuff, especially "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac; big surprise, given my love for traveling and being on the road.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dancing around a fire with Tibetans in Southwestern Gansu. Sunrise at Angkor Wat. Volunteering at a Cambodian orphanage. Donating blood at a Children's hospital in Siem Reap. Swimming with elephants in Thailand. Saving baby sea turtles in Florida. Dancing on a bar while it was on fire in Chengdu. Bungee (or is it "Bungy"?) jumping in Macau. Observing the Tomb Sweeping holiday in rural China. Milked a goat in Arkansas. Eating a deep fried spider. Watching a live birth (the most disgustingly beautiful thing I've ever seen).
