I have been living in Taiwan for the last year. I am biking around the island and need a place to stay.

ABOUT ME

I am a very outgoing person who loves to go and try new experiences, whether that be new food, new music or a new bar.

I got the travel bug when I lived in America for a year. I lived/travelled in Asia for nearly 4 years. I taught English in Thailand for half a year and Korea for over 2 and a half years. Really want to go to South America or Africa next.

Quite settled living in Manchester now, which I have been doing for the last 4 and a bit years.

PHILOSOPHY

Really looking to meet people who are equally outgoing and their glass is half full kind of person. Want someone to join me on my crazy adventures, be it snowboarding, climbing, hiking or going to a festival.
I love seeing where life will take you and that's where the best things happen, when you put yourself out there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never done it on here before, but would love to, as I've done it unofficially for years, since I started traveling age 20. Had some of the craziest nights and met the coolest people who I felt I have known for years.

Interests

I'm really into live music and I try and catch a gig at least once a month. My taste in music is really varied I love everything from house to hip-hop and indie to jazz. Love nothing more than getting dirty in the mud at a festival.

I'm a big movie fan, but I don't go to the cinema as much as I should. I like any film from blockbusters to arthouse with a bit of substance. One of my favourite movies is Old Boy having lived in Korea.

I enjoy exercise a lot, try and get to the gym 2-3 times a week and every couple of weeks I can be found hiking in the Peaks or North Wales. Recently got into climbing which is a real buzz.
I'm game for any sports really.

Books - On the Road - Jack Kerouac, reminds me of travelling.

Movies - Taxi Driver, Inception, Old Boy
Music - Johnny Marr, Stone Roses, Solomun, Visionquest (far too much to mention, basically anything except metal. Think all the music on at Glastonbury and I like it.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed with a witch doctor in the hills in Burma, even though we weren't supposed to, and saw how the real people lived. That's what travelling is all about !
