Overview
About Me
After spending the past six years in Norway, I'm currently taking a break from an "eight to four" routine. I quit my job last December and travelled around south-east Asia until early April. Unfortunately, a motorbike accident cut my travels short and forced me to return to my hometown (Poland) and focus on recovering. I'm taking my time to redefine my purpose, find a balanced way to live, being present in the now and accepting whatever life brings. Not sure yet where the journey takes me from here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to participate in couchsurfing events and meetups, but I haven't done that for a while now, partly because the community in Oslo was not very active. I've been hosted quite a few times, sometimes with friends, other times when travelling solo, and it was always a very positive experience. When travelling solo and booking an accommodation, I often use the CS hangouts to connect with people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CS really is the best way to travel, meet people and discover places. So far, couchsurfing allowed me to come across amazing, out-of-this-world individuals and have looooots of fun! Above all, it made my Erasmus experience in France one of a kind.
Interests
I love being in the nature and being active (which I had to put on hold because of my knee surgery). Hiking and camping are some of my favourite things. I also like to do yoga, learn foreign languages, read novels, play the piano and the ukulele (although I'm really just a beginner).

What I Can Share with Hosts
A good conversation (which really means something else to everyone), if that's worth your attention. I'm a good listener, too.
