ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! I'm Mertcan or Marti (for make it easy :), easy going, quite and inoffensive guy who loves to learn languages and cultures. Deeply passionate to music. I graduated from music education department and now doing my master at the same department. Did my internship in the public school then worked as a violin teacher at private music school and as a musician at the restaurant.
After I quit my jobs working for a 3 and half years, I decided to try something diffrent and worked in the shop at the historical bazaar in Bursa. Currently I participated Erasmus project (for the second time) and now I am student at the Latina Conservatory, Italy. I do play violin and piano. But when I get an occation, I do also sing at the choirs. AND OF COURSE I participate as a musician at the orchestra (which I love the most :D)
I do love to share my memories, knowledge and opinion with people but of course love to get some too.

PHILOSOPHY
By the age, I always change my mind (because of the things I learn) but basicly my thoughts refers to humanism and naturalism.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, we are living in the technology age, It makes us estrange but If we can use it wisely, makes us close also. So I give it a "wise" chance to get to know new people and cultures :)

Interests

Since that I love nature and history, mostly go for a walk to city centre and visit historical places and also going up to mountain and the lake-side.

I also like taking pictures but I need to still improve my skills at all eheh :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to listen to mainly classical music but I do love all sort of musics at all!

Movies... Ah too difficult to choose but let's say The Curious Case of BB, A Beautiful Mind and of course all the LOTR and HOBBIT series for the base (YEEEEY :D )

For the books, I have little bit strange taste but my favourite ones are "The Book of Ignorance", books about composers and music theory etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Applying to aviation school while I was preparing my thesis' substructure :) I learned many things that I don't even know that they are exist and of course I met up new people. It was too challenging... Wuh!
