ABOUT ME

My name is Mertcan and I study english and sports in Frankfurt in order to become a teacher afterwards. The upcoming semester in october 2013 I will be studying in Southampton as an erasmus student.

Interests

My biggest interests are music, traveling and sports. I play the guitar and the piano and like to make music myself from time to time. I used to make hip hop music but recently I have just been practicing my guitar skills and I like to spend much time with it.
When I travel I love the fact that I meet fascinating people who like to socialize and share their ideas and philosophies concerning life. In my opinion that is the way you truly get to know other people and connect with them. So that is why I like traveling, basically because of the people I meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have walked the camino de santiago which was the most inspiring experience so far. Furthermore I have been to Sao Paulo in Brazil and worked in a social project called "Associacao Aramitan".
