I am a free soul, looking for the new experiences. I don't feel I belong to a place or country at all. I am happy to see more of the World, learn from the present. I have big dreams, lots of plans, but they are all flexible and changeable. My life experiences taught me how short the life is, and how small the World is. So I follow my dreams, change my plans when there is a new and better thing to do/better way of doing things.

I travel more for the people than the places. I enjoy meeting locals and learn about the life in this particular place I am visiting. I don't have 'places to visit', 'things to see' lists, so I am usually a total stranger in the towns, wondering around with no expectations.

As a host, I am happy to share my place with travelers no matter if we share common interests or not. If both of us feel like hanging out, then that's cool, if not that's fine, as well. I have no expectations from my guests, except honesty :) So when you send me a request, you don't have to write anything imaginary, or made up, like how interesting I am, etc... Just the need of a place, is enough for me to host someone.

As a guest, I am pretty happy with the acceptance of my request, so I try to do help with something in return, like cooking, walking the dog if there is one, etc. I am usually with a bike and a lot of luggage, so I try not to make a mess in the place. I have a sleeping bag and mattress, so I am always ready to sleep on the floor if there is nowhere else to sleep.
I have been feeling a bit frustrated by the usage of this website. I don't want to feel that I am on a date or dating website. So I expect not be asked for that.
As I am cycling most of the time, I get to places after a long and tiresome day. As a couchsurfer, it is very difficult to figure out what to do when the potantial host cancels last minute. I hope you accept only if you really mean to :)

Riding bike is my passion in life. Laughing with a child makes me feel great. Helping an old person is really helping to make me happy. Also, I like walking, playing with dogs or cats.I love nature, wild camping, ect.
I like knitting but only in winter. Snow reminds me yards so I start knitting every winter.
I love authentic music.
I like reading a lot!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I had a surprise invitation for new year's when I was cycling in Belarus. An amazing group of people, were getting together for new year's. They accepted me in their lovely village house, shared their food and love! They even gave me present for new year's! After a role play, we all walked to a hill to drink and count down when the new year was starting. That was the most unique and exciting moment in my trip so far!
