ABOUT ME

Me llamo María, puedes llamarme Mari, meri, mariquilla o como te apetezca.
Soy enfermera pero también fui camarera, limpiadora y cocinera etc.
Soy una persona abierta y risueña, con muchas ganas de vivir, hacer amigos y conocer los maravillosos rincones de este mundo. Me gusta la naturaleza y el placer de un buen vino bajo las estrellas.
Hay gente que dice que hablo demasiado alto pero yo les digo que estoy VIVA!
Soy trabajadora, luchadora y activa. No me gustan las injusticias, el racismo, el machismo ni la homofobia. Puedo conversar contigo si tienes una opinión diferente pero no conseguirás cambiar la mía respecto a esto, soy un poco cabezota xD

My name is María, you can call me Mari, meri, mariquilla or whatever you want. I'm a nurse but I was also a waitress, cleaner and cook etc. I am an open and smiling person, with a lot of desire to live, make friends and know the wonderful corners of this world. I'm a little crazy and I sing and I dance at all times. I like the nature and the pleasure of a good wine under the stars.
There are people who say that I speak too loud but I tell them that I am ALIVE!
I am hardworking, fighter and active. I do not like injustices, racism, machismo or homophobia. I can talk to you if you have a different opinion but you will not change mine about this, I'm a bit stubborn xD

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Siempre buenas experiencias. He viajado con couchsurfing por Italia, Polonia, Grecia, España, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina y Camboya! Ssi estoy en tu casa intentaré ayudar en todo lo que pueda y dejar la casa igual o mejor de lo que estaba :)

Always good experiences. I have traveled with couchsurfing in Italy, Poland, Greece, Spain, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina and Cambodia! If I am at home, I will try to help as much as I can and leave the house the same or better than I was :)

Interests

VIAJAR es mi pasión, yo no trabajo para vivir, trabajo para viajar!!!
Me gusta bailar lo que sea, cantar en la ducha, hacer yoga, deportes en la naturaleza (Trekking, escalada, barranquismo..)
Me gusta leer, y compartir lo que leo.
Me gustan todos los instrumentos de percusión, formaba parte de una batucada de mujeres en Granada, España, donde reivindicamos luchas sociales.

TRAVEL is my passion, I do not work to live, I work to travel !!!
I like to dance anything, sing in the shower, do yoga, sports in nature (Trekking, climbing, canyoning ..)
I like to read, and share what I read.
I like all the percussion instruments, I was part of a batucada of women in Granada, Spain, where we claimed social struggles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

He viajado a dedo sola desde Río Gallegos (último punto de la patagonia argentina) hasta Santiago de Chile (mas de 2700 km)
He colaborado como enfermera con Cruz roja, prestando asistencia a las personas que llegaban en embarcaciones muy precarias desde los países subsaharianos de África hasta las costas españolas, con hipotermias y sin saber a donde llegaban, pero realmente lo increíble es la travesía que ellos hacen para poder vivir mejor y agradezco muchísimo todo lo que me enseñaron en estos años.

I have traveled on my own from Río Gallegos (last point of Argentine Patagonia) to Santiago de Chile (more than 2700 km)
I have worked as a nurse with Red Cross, assisting people who arrived in very precarious vessels from sub-Saharan African countries to the Spanish coasts, with hypothermia and without knowing where they arrived, but really the incredible thing is the journey they make for to be able to live better and I really appreciate everything that they taught me in these years.
