This text I wrote 7 years ago, note that I am more sarcastic and less surprised about life at this point 🙃
****
I recently discovered that I can't live without traveling.. each time I feel the wheels rolling underneath me on the road I fall in love with life again...
l was unbelievably lucky during my traveling to meet the most amazing people ever... people who knew their existence is too valuable to spend it paying bills and watching tv !
I've lived alone.. shared my room with people I don't know... got lost in a mountain in the middle of the night.. missed buses.. burst in laughter.. burst in tears .. said hello... said goodbyes... learnd new languages.. cooked weird meals... kissed trees ... swam in freeezing beaches... played drums in a football field... picked fruits from trees... watered vegetables.. painted restaurant walls ... made wrong judgements and changed my mind...met with childhood friends while in a utterly strange city.. slept and missed my stop.. slept in buses watching sunsets... got high by the smell of cooking sneaking out of windows in the narrow streets... seeing sea from up a hill in between colourful buildings...wept watching a train leaving... stayed in silence with people who "don't take depression seriously"...slept on small beaches after playing with long sticks...crawled under closed doors to dive in surprising amounts of cheese... Had insomnia with endless talks in front of a chimenea... had a few hours friendships after which i would never be the same person again... felt my heart breathing the sun...harrassed as a solo traveler by so many psychos and decided to keep the adventure going anyways... got scammed... saw faith in humanity when I was about to lose my mind...danced and sang and jumped untill I could no more...
I still have to see alot more..
this world seems to be more and more complicated to exist in, and even though my thirld world's humble passport makes it difficult for me to cross frontiers, I still have the faith that someday it will be easier.. and I will walk freely under the sky, "on the road", when another world seems to open his arms for my childish imagination..
Day by day it's getting better.
the doors will be only "the doors of perception", the way will be the poem and the steps will sing with the rain untill the breath stops exactly when the feet can no longer hold the forever traveler..
Something to know if I'm your host/surfer :
I am a dreamer, a simple human, I hate small talk, I hate order and social codes, I love laughing outloud, I love freedom and I hate limits, I don't want to flirt, we can dance or talk about suicide, history or trees from the first seconds, I have strong mood swings so if I burst in tears or laughter without a reason don't panic, I love people, I hate hate , I love good movies, I respect if you want to stay alone, I swear alot, I hate the " normal" anything, I can't pretend to like you if I don't, sometimes I snore, I have a cat, if you cook well or recite poetry you have my heart, Welcome to my life for a few seconds or for a lifetime, only love really matters !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I beleive in the value of exchange between human beings rather than use this develish invention called money.
Because I want to help and be helped.
Because I don't belong anywhere
Through you I could belong there for a while... and then keep walking.
Because the Earth is home.
Because you're a great being!
Because I'm not filthy rich but I'm blessed with the sickness of travelling ..
Because deep inside I lost faith in humanity but deeper inside I know there are desperate crazy Lovers of life, and they freaking fill me with hope everytime !
Because I had an amazing experience of CS..
Because peace N LOVE !
