One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Believing that I would discover an island which must have been discovered long before:

I was feeling very depressed and reading a book under a tree. The camping we stayed was a garden of a village house. One of the friends there said that he would go to the beach and asked us if we wanted to join. I told him I would catch him in a few minutes. After I left for the beach, I saw the small island I was always curious about and I changed my route and walked into the woods to discover the island. After a few hours later I realised that there was no path and the coast was really far away. But I didn't want to go back to the road. I kept walking and then crawling. I had only bikini and flip flops on me and a bottle of water. One of the flip flops was torn soon. So I decided to throw the second one away. There were thorny plants everywhere. My feet were hurting a lot and I was always tripping and falling. I instinctively started to crawl. Finally I started to climb down from the cliffs. Even if they seemed to be rocks, they were broken into small pieces as soon as you held them. So it became more dangerous. At that point, I threw my water away. I felt I was learning how to trick the gravity. In the end I reached to the small island which was not an island anymore. It was a pile of rocks which had needle like edges. Even if I was really tired, and worried for the rest of the road, I swam there for a few minutes. I had thorns and scars on every point of my body. I kept walking and swimming to be able to reach the valley where I could find people. Normally I cannot swim well and am afraid of the depth. But I was so helpless and couldn't wait. After I had reached to a bay which had a path to the main road, I had no more power to swim or step. I saw a fishing boat. I left myself into the sea and waved my hands to ask help. They told me to swim towards them because they weren't able to approach any more. I did. They took me to the boat and gave me some tea and some olive oil for my body. I told them the story in a rush. The old fisherman said, "Good job! Everyone might be angry at you but they will never know the things you have seen and experienced today. You will always remember this and smile." After giving me a torch, they took me to the main valley where I could find people, and a minibus to the place I stayed. I saw a guy whom I knew from İstanbul. I hugged him and told my story. He invited me to his friends' place but I needed to go to the camping site I stayed. Everyone was of course curious about me. I asked the driver to take me there and would pay if he waited for a few minutes. He took me there and I paid for 8 people since I hadn't waited for the minibus to be full. A friend of mine was quite upset and worried about me. We started to put centaury oil on my body to heal the scars and take out the thorns naturally. This oil is a miracle which should be known by everyone. In the end, thanks to this advanture, I rose up out of my depression.
