Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Amelie, Up, Finding Nemo, Fried Green Tomatoes, Contact, The Departed...
TV: Friends, Arrested Development, the office.
Books: I really like creative, imaginative, or funny books... Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of The World, Me Talk Pretty Some Day...
Music: In Stevie Wonder's words..."Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand." I love all different types of music; from funky blues, to folk, to alternative rock...I usually can't help myself from dancing (or at least moving) to music...even in public spaces, like the grocery store :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many to select a favorite. But, recently there was this one incredible moment when the city's lights were playing across a shattered window of the subway in such a way that each crack lit up in succession. It was a beautiful little collage of light and movement, I wish I had caught it on film! Words don't do it justice.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am willing to teach anyone my loon call. It's not very practical, but it's a good party trick.
I would love to learn more about film and video. I really want to turn some of my writing into videos one day.
