Music, Movies, and Books

Love gangster movies, the old Black and white and loads more - 12 Angry Men, Godfather; Singin in the Rain, On the Waterfront, to name a few. Love Bruce Springsteen, roots, latino and blues, Patti Smith, Neil YOung, Gruff Rhys; Welsh music and the classics. All kinds of fiction and factual - Therese Raquin, Madame Bovary, Un Nos Ola Leuad, O Tyn y Gorchudd, Dickens & Thackery, just discovered Paul Auster and Arthur Miller's biog was really good

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking on the beach and seeing the sunset last night. Watched a glacier melt once for a day, I know it sounds boring - but it was incredible - the colour and that noise like a giant trying to be born from the earth cracking his bones every now and then.

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I teach you?? Umm - some Welsh, show you places you'd never find if you relied on tourist information guides; insight into Welsh culture and history, and offer you good hospitality
