PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life and don't sit around waiting for others to make you happy. I also find being nice to everyone is my personal mantra.If someone is a jerk to you , never sink to their level and just be nice because lfe is too short to be angry. However I have been known to be a angry gal once and awhile actually every day but give me a coffee and I calm down :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couched surfed before but I thought I have a spare room and what a great way to meet people from all around the world. Sydney is an amazing place to live and visit so I would love to show people around. Letting people stay with me will be like travelling without the expense until I travel next year. Hope to learn a thing or two from other cultures. I think you should open your friendship up to everyone.

Interesses

I love having fun and will be the first to try something no matter how crazy. When I am sensible Michelle I enjoy art like Dali, Francis Bacon, Andy Warhol and anything that is unusual.
I used to enjoy running and drawing except I work like crazy so I don't get much spare time anymore.
I have a interest in Russian History and hope to get there next year.
I like to dance the night away with my boy pals but am happy to stay at home reading.

I love love music, books and flicks which is really bad as I spend too much money on them.

My favourite movies are Psycho, Ghostworld, Spinal Tap, Run Lola run, princess and the warrior,Amerian Psycho, Requiem for a dream , High Fidelity, fight club, Pi, Charlies angels 1 &2 and I can go on and on. I enjoy all sorts of films but really enjoy zombie flicks and old horror films.Relaxing with a good movie and bag of popcorn is the ultimate.

nothing beats a good book on a rainy day or while you are stuck on a long train trip. It depends on my mood as sometimes I enjoy non fiction and sometimes I want a chicky book. My favourite authors in the world are Chuck Palahniuk, Henry Rollins, Ben Elton. Clive Barker, Candace Bushnell,Nick Earls,Bill Bryson,Irvin Welsh and many more.
I get free books so I read quite a lot. I enjoy comics as well including Batman, Archie, JTHM and Manga.

I enjoy all sorts of music and go to practically all concerts when they come to Sydney except I had to give Justin Timberlake a miss as I loath him. I have seen Nine Inch nails, Blondie, Dandy Warhole's, Tori Amos Cher and will be seeing the Bangles later this year and am looking forward to the Big Day out 06.I would have a lot more cash in the bank if I didn't like going to concerts. They can be pretty expensive here in Australia so I hope to see some live acts in my travels. The best concerts I have seen was Madonna, Nine Inch nails, Tool and Cher as I love love them. I am a bit of a freak when it comes to music as I couldn't picture life without it. One day I plan to learn the drum's until then I dream.

It depends on my mood what I listen sometimes Nine Inch nails, Fear Factory,No Doubt , Elastica, Wolfsheim, Arrested development, PJ Harvey, Gwen, Cake, Aimmee Mann, Blur and I have a zillion Cd's so this list can go on and on. I enjoy everything so I can go to a heavy concert or can be seen dancing around silly at a dance party. I love hearing new music and I don't care if it is in english or what genre as long as it is new. I hate hate music like Australia idol or that stupid ringtone frog. Rubbish!

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I have only just started to travel with my first trip to the USA last year. I had the best time and made some amazing mates who I caught up with last week in Melbourne.
Las Vegas was the coolest place that I went to as I love bright lights and rides. My experience there was like Fear and loathing las Vegas without the drugs but I wasn't able to walk. I hope to go back to the USA soon as I loved the cheesecake, shopping and everything is so much fun there. I got to see M.Monroe's grave and I climbed her fence of the house she died in to take a picture. I felt like a crazy person but I worship her so I can tick off one thing I have always wanted to do.
I am currently saving up to go to Russia, Europe, Turkey and maybe Cairo If I save enough. When I get to Russia I think I will cry then drink vodka as I cried when I got to LA and drank vodka. I am not sure if I cried because I was happy or the pollution was getting to me.Still upset that I didn't bump into Paris Hilton or some other lame b grade celib.
