About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Carpe diem et carpe noctem
ABOUT ME
Perchance, to dream? I am 31 going on 85. A Comparative Literature Graduate, Historic Preservation Advocate.
I am an introverted/extroverted, isolated/social, over-analytical/dreamer, and pantheist who is into indie rock, melodic metal, & Baroque music, though I hold nothing against alternative & grunge. I enjoy studying Art (its history, elements, & plain grandeur); & Literature (anything from Medieval writings to the Romantics & Victorians, to the Latin American Boom to the Modern Novella ... name it and I'll probably de-construct it!)
Also: I LOVE chocolate and have a mild obsession with stars...but that's okay. Oh! And I'm currently learning how to play the violin. {Yay}
PHILOSOPHY
The more I live and learn, the more I understand that my personal philosophy and views are quite parallel to those of Kierkegaard and Nietzsche.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think it's safe to say I'm a decent surfer and a good [nomadic] host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I truly believe that CS is probably the best traveling and hosting community out there. My first trip to Europe would not have been what it was had I not been hosted by such wonderful people. It makes for a culturally rich experience, for not only do you see what you must, but also, you get to see what you, perhaps otherwise, might have missed.
