ABOUT ME

We are two people trying to see the world and the people in it. We love photography, writing and food.
We just ended a year teaching tiny Koreans in Seoul and now we are teaching English in a small town in Hungary near the Romanian border.
We want to see the world and not just the UNESCO sites. We want to wander through towns and meet people who actually live in the places we visit. And we want to eat and cook as much as we can.

PHILOSOPHY

We're all going to be dead for millions, billions, and zillions of years, so why not stay up late tonight?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We spent a great week in Chiang Mai couch surfing only to spend the next week in a hotel and a hospital with Dengue Fever. It was still a great trip though.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

We are complete opposites in this category. Anna likes romantic comedies and Glee, musicals and pop music, and The Elegance of the Hedgehog. Andre likes action and mind-fuck movies, Atmosphere, and Hemingway. But we can both agree that Treme, Friday Night Lights, Love Actually, The Usual Suspects, Ong Bak, Tom Yum Goong, Regina Spektor, The Hold Steady, Mika, Malcolm Gladwell, Michael Pollan, and Beloved are all fabulous.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Met and photographed families living in a huge cemetery in Manila. They built their lives around mausoleums, coffins and bags of bones. The people were beautiful and friendly. Something we will never forget.
