Professionally:
Holds two masters degrees from Tizi-Ouzou and Blida Universities, Algeria the first is in Political sciences and International relations his dissertation was about: Darfur Crisis and its regional and international dimensions, the second is in international law his dissertation was about: The Human security in the Sahel and the role of Algerian Law. Now he is PHD student of political sciences and international relations at Algiers 3 University his dissertation is about: Security threats in the Sahel region and its relationship to the Algerian national security. He was published 3 times in the African Journal of Political Science.

As a student he joined an international youth organization, AIESEC, where he chaired many national and international conferences. Due to his leadership skills and interest in TED Talks, in 2012, after a devastating fire in the Chrea Mountains, he organized TEDxChrea, the first international conference about environment and sustainable development with numerous expert speakers. Mr. Mestek believes that the power of change lies within innovation and action.

I love to hear about other couch surfers adventures. I like sharing with other surfers. I enjoy hosting people from all over the world. Showing people around the city, drinking and making merry with strangers, turning strangers into friends.
