About Me

CURRENT MISSION

learn from other cultures

ABOUT ME

easy going and social, i like to stay busy, socially but also keep on learning
i love to read, to travel and to learn languages (i manage to talk too much in many)
i love to be active and outdoors. just discovered i love spicy margheritas!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i enjoy meeting new people, outdoor or for a drink. i think i can learn so much from other cultures. patience, for example. im still working on that one ;)

and because i have been working as a guide for a long time, i can give you many recommandations for places, reliable local guides and hotels all around asia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i did couchsurfing before i knew it existed within a network. just joined, so far i really like it. i have met many nice and interesting people, and got to places i would have never found on my own. and occasionally, i managed to do the same for others : )

Interests

anything and if it doesnt interest me yet its probably because i didnt hear of it yet.
people sometimes tell me that i should focus on one thing. boring!

  • drinking
  • traveling
  • outdoor activities
  • languages
  • tourism

Music, Movies, and Books

i like art house movies and over-the-top horror movies. the asian ones are the best.
i like to see musicians play music, whatever genre. i took piano classes but im quite hopeless
I love to read, and could really use an e-reader while travelling cause always buy too many books. i usually give them to friends or trade them in hostels - its not stealing when you leave books too ( ;

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i am lucky enough to travel for work these days, and almost every day brings something amazing. The himalaya region remains my absolute favorite. but how spoiled am I to put beautiful countries like japan and vietnam on the second place?

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bhutan, Cabo Verde, Cambodia, Chile, Czech Republic, Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Laos, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
