About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Embracing the glorious mess that I am :D
And, secondly, I really struggle here making some people understand that, unlike them, I don't approach CS as it would be Tinder or a dating site, but that I am genuinely interested in human beings :D
Interests
*Human values
*People morally upright
*Middle Ages and other tales about kings and queens, castles and knights, witches, cathedrals and (corrupted) popes. :)
* Enjoying myself as I am:
- riding a personal emotional roller-coaster where my highs are very high and my lows, very low. (but this is the way I feel I don't waste the time/life)
- living with a permanent friction between mind and heart which generates inner crisis hard to handle sometimes, you better don't know.
- maybe there are many "laid-back" persons over here, but I am not one of them . Nor I am necessarily and always the open and friendly person you read often about over here. The truth is that I can be extremely sociable, friendly and available sometimes, and completely aloof, independent and unavailable at other times. And I DO love those who have the strenght to accept and tolerate me this way.
- quiet outsider contemplating often on life, human nature condition, ideals, archetypes...
- tangled creature
*Radical or extremist movements and characters, real freedom, equality and elitism, (anti) politics , science, unconventional stuff , controversial issues, history (especially on the Soviet Union), originality, awakening, intellectual challenges [and I do love to permanently have something to investigate, to make mental dissection of people('s motivations) , things or situations].
*Russia
* Talleyrand (paradoxically, i know, i just have said above that i liked moral people. Its strange even for myself!)
* I like: hills, sunsets, japanese old cartoons, forests and deers, the sunny mornings in Paris, slabbering babies, deers again and conifer trees, teaching children smarty stuff and observing the wonder on their face haha, libraries, traveling by train, thinking of aliens, the idea that someone couldnt trick me :)), surgery.
*I hate:
-cliches (be them verbal, behavioral or thinking cliches)
-spiritual laziness,
- hot weather (da, i dont like hot weather! so what?)
-lust's slavery and exacerbated hedonism [and I only blame here the physical pleasure (not because I am against it myself, but because when it becomes one's life target could be very dangerous for other human beings) and that kind of pleasure gained through activities that harm or offend others].
-absurd and irrational tolerance in order to submit yourself to a mass mindset [which is not actually yours, but you are not aware of it or you refuse to be because
1. you are afraid to be judged by the (already submissive) majority or by your friends (really?)
2.you are afraid to be yourself, even though you are different],
Remember this: good people will always support you in the process of thinking yourself, having your own oppinion and being yourself and NOT in the process of accepting ideas coming from someone who is seemingly above you and who periodically controls and changes the mindset making people serving some interests. 'Arguments' like "this is normal" (who says/sets up what is normal?) or "this is how people usually do" (who cares?) should not be accepted as real arguments.
Whatever, coming back to what I hate (huh, it seems there are too many things I hate :D) :
-the lack of common sense,
-the claims of knowing everything
-irresponsibility
- self indulgence and the fail of watching inside yourself with sincerity and dealing with what you really are
- the lack of sincerity - in general
- surprises :P :))
Ok, I stop here. :))
- books
- ethics
- politics
- geopolitics
- history
- medicine
- neuroscience
- psychology
- science
Music, Movies, and Books
MOVIES
"Being there" - the finest and most subtle humour i have ever seen. Highly recommended!
"Fury" (yes, 2014) - damn intense!
"Das leben der anderen"
"Solaris"
"Der Untergang"
"Enemy at the Gates" - lots of vagal reactions while watching this piece. I've noticed i live quite intensely certain movies, especially the war ones. Isn't that weird? :))
"Come and see" (Idi i smotri) - thrilling, disturbing. Must see!
"The Americans" - No, its not what it seems to be :)) Big fan of the series.
And in general historical movies or series, such as "Napoleon" (2002), "Rome" (2005), "The Tudors" (2007)...
MUSIC
Elijah Bossenbroek, Enya, Roxette, Blackmore's Night, Ed Sheeran (I love this quite gifted guy!), military music (shock!) and particularly the Red Army Choir - da, commies have the best music of such profile , celtic music, rock ballads... ...
BOOKS: 1984 - Orwell, When Nietzsche wept - I. Yalom, Brave new world - Aldous Huxley, Master and Margarite - Bulgakov, Andrei Makine, Kierkegaard, Dostoievsky, le Carre.
+ Books/materials on a given topic which I am interested in...and doesnt matter to me who wrote them as long as they provide many pieces of information that I can sort and judge and compare and analize later on.. (please note that I like to involve myself in such kind of processes, not only with books but also with humans as they are also a rich source of information - about themselves or/and other stuff)
So: I've noticed I usually make obsessions on topics rather than on a specific author. And I tend to read on that topic - i like to name it "the diver style" - until I become exhausted...or an expert. :))
