ABOUT ME

Chilean born, Madrid raised. A humble prototype of modern epicurean —a sort of sustainable hedonist— although my grandfather insists on calling me a hippie :C

I'm a Psychonaut, we psychonauts are something like the astronauts of psychology; while the psychologists study and theorize about the mind and soul, we dive in expanded states of consciousness cartographing their limits and the human potential, for self-knowledge, spirituality, artistic inspiration or a mix of all using techniques and tools extracted from religions and spiritual traditions so far away from each other as Yoga or Shamanisms. "Know thyself" sentenced the pronaos of the oracle of Delphi. We should pay more atention to the ancient greeks, you know? all our culture is their inheritance, we could have imported the God of wine for example...

I live on the outskirts of Madrid in an endearing village, away just enough to breathe the fresh, clean air while getting myself lost on the thousand nature routes just two minutes from my house, listen the concerts of cicadas at night and wake up with the birds that populate my neighbor's fig tree by the mornings, and close enough to catch a bus stop and crawl myself through the seas of people everytime I want to feel the pulsing rhythm of the city...

I can always offer myself as a guide. Do you like hiking? I know some pretty nice nature views to visit in the north countryside of Madrid. Maybe you would rather see some cultural historical places in the capital instead, check!
Do you like poetry? i can show you some cool bars where you can listen live poetry.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and made some cool friends. I haven't CS while traveling but expect to mend that this year!

Interests

Cosmologies, mythologies, philosophies and comparative religions, anything that i could use to create metaphors that order my world, harmonizing what i feel, think, say and do. So far so good, but we can always make it better, right?

It's funny, have you realised how most people spends their life drilling their skulls planning their future? that ethereal and non-existent future, and we go mortgaging our dreams, signing infinite smoke checks in exchange of false illusions while the days keep draining like sand in a hourglass...

I just aspire to delight myself in the eternal present and leave the world when I leave it a little better than how i found it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I have seen the Whale route while living in Chile

- In 2014 my brother, a friend and myself went to do the way of Saint James as a way to say goodbye to our old lifestyle before closing our apartment. It was an amazing experience, i can only invite you to do it, you won't regret it!

- At 16 I did my military training in the Chilean Andes mountain range. Actually i don't support any way of military action, but that was great experience for me to grow as a person.

- I have opened the doors of perception...
