About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take a deeper look at Milton H. Erickson... And get the skill to observe without judging... but that has time.

ABOUT ME

That's me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd0d91sR1fY&feature=youtu.be :)
I study psychology because I have a deep interest in people. Why do people what they do? What makes successful people successfully or what do high-achiever (in sport, business or in everyday life) different than other people, and how can everyone do that in their own life... The philosophic component (where are we? why do we live? where do we go? ...) isn't far then.
(for me) the most interesting field in psychology is the modern hypnosis (Milton H. Erickson, Gunther Schmidt,...) and the systemic thinking (e.g. systemic therapy). Because it's about the art of communication. It's not a relaxing ritual or sth. like that, its more a very diffizil and accurate kind of communication. (but we all use from time to time this kind of communication - for more interest just google Milton H Erickson:)

I am also interested in politics, but not the "Party politics" more geopolitic-interests and stuff like that.
I like to boulder or doing a martial art very much.
Since 2012 I play cajon (on a very beginner level)... I am a very music-talented-free person :)
Right now I am working as a family intensive advisor (at least thats the word by word translation) and as an trainer for so called soft skills.
My other interests are written at the "interests" section ;)
Here are video-clips from me: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ0KBLoXExddO6_SVKBj5kQ
And here is my website from me, if you like to have more informations, what I am doing (unfortunately it is all in german): www.marianzefferer.at

PHILOSOPHY

Life can be very good or very bad at EVERY time. It's just a question of perspective. Because to every perspective you give a different judgement which gives you a different feeling... But what if you could just look/watch/observe WITHOUT judging it? Seems impossible? Maybe it's the skill of so called "enlighted"... It's like playing chess, the rules are very easy (it's easy to say, life can be good or bad any time), but to master chess you need your whole life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be hones the first time i used CS was because i didn't want to pay for a hotel. Now i really enjoy the people who use CS and like to use CS as an additional travel-experience.

But i am not that kind of a host, who go out for sightseeing.

Interests

aikido, bouldern (climbing), slack lining, reading, (modern) Hypnosis (Erickson), the art of communication, psychology, NLP psychoanalysis, systemic therapy, tea, observing (people), improvised theatre, making movies (especially the process of creating and forming an idea and the cutting part), meditation (and mediation too :), learning techniques, provocative therapy, cooking (vegan and sometimes raw-vegan), rhetoric, discussions (espacially about psychology, personal topics and deep politic)...

Music, Movies, and Books

Nearly all books about Milton H Erickson, "Der Alchemist" from Paulo Coehlo, "The art of loving" from Erich Fromm and other books from him, A lot of books from Arno Gruen (psychoanalyst), "Frei Sprechen" from Michael Rossie,.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The state of "flow". I had lots of these moments but one of the memorablest one was in Aikido. There I attacked my trainer lots of times and every time it felt like dancing but a lot better :). It's amazing that in this state it seems that you need less energy for doing things...

Teach, Learn, Share

Be careful how you interpret the world: It is like that. -> Erich Heller

Efficiency is intelligent laziness. -> David Dunham

Every man takes the limits of his own field of vision for the limits of the world. -> Arthur Schopenhauer, "Studies in Pessimism," Psychological Observations, 1851

I can teach you self-hypnosis for relaxation, but also for other stuff you like to achieve. And i also can you teach some simple rhetoric-skills, so that you are relaxed when you have to give a speech, or other simple techniques which will give you a more vital and memorable kind of speech.
