About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To move, to breathe, to fly, to float. To gain all while I give. To roam the roads of lands remote.

ABOUT ME

Observant, kind hearted, and patient. I love to walk around observing new places, the thing is, I feel awesome when I can show some new cool places for you to explore HAHA! I am a caffeine addict so it's best to talk to me after I have my morning coffee. I am also very positive, trustworthy, and easy going. I love to sing so dont mind my awful voice singing anywhere at anytime. I loooooooove food -all kind of nice food in this universe (provided it's edible and it's not something 'weird' in my opinion)- so you gotta beware and don't get fooled by my body size =P

PHILOSOPHY

When plan A doesn't work, I still have 25 plans on my list ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I may be able to host some surfers in my mini apartment, but it depends on the situation. If I can't host, I'm up for meet up, tea, coffee, movies, concert, anything fun. However, I can only meet up in the weekends coz my work during weekdays requires so much commitment. Le sigh.

I've lived in Malaysia for 7 years now *clap-clap* and all these while I only rely on feet, train, and buses so you can drop me a message if you have any question about how the train system works in Malaysia and which direction to go to tourist spots by walking :D In my free time, I could take you to the interesting places you wanna visit around Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya, and Putrajaya but bear in mind that I'm not a travel agent that will take every tourist to the same places so perhaps we could explore and adventure some new interesting places together, what say you?! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had the experiences since back in 2009, I think, but i'm just lazy to sign up. A good friend of mine who was a CS pioneer hosted some people and I met a couple of them. He and some of his guests came to my apartment too, mainly to use the internet, and I enjoyed listening to their amazing travel stories. Some other good friends of mine are also CSers, we just love hanging out with people who travel :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- I'm a girly-girl when it comes to movies. Happy ending love story drama has always been my thing. I'm also a dreamer so fiction and imaginary stuffs that will never happen in real life is another favorite thing. I'm a big big fan of Harry Potter and The Hunger Games.

Music - Anything goes depends on the mood

Books - Self development book and, again, imaginary stuffs written by JK Rowling and Suzanne Collins :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first backpacking experience was to Penang back in 2010. I travelled with my travel buddy (Christiana, she's in my friend list) and we reached there at 3 AM with no place to stay. Walked around the street to look for any hostel but they rejected us coz it wasn't a check in time yet. We wandered around the street and finally were rescued by a transgender prostitute standing by the road looking for customers. And so our first night in Penang was staying in a 'love hotel'! Freaking out but relieved. The room was awful (I swear!) but we both just couldn't careless and couldn't stop laughing either. But then, that's when we learned not to judge other people by their gender, sexual orientation, and job. Life is more than just those things and human is just human after all. Kindness can be found everywhere in the world, we just need to be more open and accepting and things will be much simpler.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach me anything; dance, languages, anything fun, and I'll teach you how to go local, Malaysian or Indonesian way! I have been learning salsa for a few months now and would love to teach/share with CS Salseros/Salseras too :)
