Overview
About Me
Cooking+Eating=Ted. I LOVE COOKING. It's always fun to try a new recipe and discover something nice! I prefer to use normal, simple ingredients to cook. Cooking delicious casual food can be easier than we had expected right? I can't say that I am a very good cook but I do enjoy cooking everyday.
I love traveling of course. When I'm traveling, I always talk to the locals whenever possible. Even though I sometimes can't fully understand what they say due to some language barrier, I still consider it a very joyful thing to do during traveling. Every conversation is so unique and you'll never get the same conversation again in your life!
Listening to others talking about their traveling experience is also my favorite. I want to know what's happening in the world. I want to know what it's like to travel in some mysterious region. They are so thrilling!
During traveling, I can get up pretty early every day and join as many activities when ever possible. I'm NOT "it took me two hours to get here by bus. It's so tiring! I want to take a nap and relax for a day" that kind of person. Traveling means having lots of fun! I'm easygoing person so if there are any fun activities around here, just ask! I'll definitely join you.
I'm from Taiwan. I know that some people maybe don't know where Taiwan is. Here's an interesting video that briefly introduces ten interesting facts about my country.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've surfed for quite a few times and I'm trying pretty hard to be a nice host.
Transportation is my major so if you have any questions about the transportation in Stockholm, I'll try my best to answer you :P.
Until 15 October 2014, I've surfed with 47 nice and interesting host. Hosted 15 groups(25 people) at my place.
My first time being a backpacker was in New Zealand when I was 18. It was an AWESOME experience but I didn't thought of trying couchsurfing at that time.
I first tried couchsurfing in the summer of 2010 in Japan. I really cherish this unforgettable trip and I would definitely not forget every friendly people I met during the trip. I'm hooked on couchsufing afterward.
In the summer of 2011, I went for a trip around Taiwan and I did it with Rens who is also a member of CS. We did some CS at that time and it was FANTASTIC.
If you put "3D" at the end of your request, I'd know that at least you spent some time reading my profile. I'll try my best to host you.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:My favorite author is Isaac Asimov. I'm such a big sci-fi fan. Isaac Asimov's books are full of imagination and the description of human society and the future of the mankind. I just love it :)
Movie series:"Battlestar Galactica" "Terra Nova" Both of them are sci-fi.
Movie:I enjoy sci-fi, Zombies, comedy, car racing.
Hot Fuzz, Matrix, Battleship...etc. Simon Pegg is my favorite actor.
I also like Japanese drama or any kind of heart-warming drama such as Back to the Rafters.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing the Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand. It was really exhausted. It was like climbing a wild mountain but the ground is made of ice!
Climbing the glacier is a very precious experience for a person who come from a tropical island which never snows in winter like me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to improve my English, Swedish, Japanese or any other kinds of language.
I can teach Traditional Chinese or Taiwanese in return:)
