About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit as many couches possible in other places I haven't visited and to be an ambassador to others visiting San Francisco.

ABOUT ME
I've participated in couchsurfing in the very early stages back in 2008. I've mainly hosted but also want to thank all of those that have hosted me in the past. I personally cannot not thank you all enough of how grateful and how humbled I've become as a person from my amazing CS experiences. There's countless great memories engrained from either visiting / hosting you all. It really gives you hope in humankind :)

I grew up in very small towns of less than 1,000 when I was small where my father was a physician for underpriviledged communities. I moved almost every three years of my life. While this suc ked growing up, it's made me much more personable and given me the ability to connect with new people much easier. :)

I've gotten two startups off the ground and consider myself a scrappy entrepreneur which includes overcoming several adversities in the past and love sharing my personal experiences as well as learning from others.

I also spent six years working in the corporate world, am a talented classically trained pianist and have been playing since the age of five, competed in semi-pro speedskating in the late 90's, and have lived in NY, 3 parts of FL, GA, DC, 2 parts of VA, NJ, PA, and finally CA where I have lived in San Mateo, Oakland, and now Alameda. Ironically enough, my parents are not from a military background!

PHILOSOPHY
Treat others how you'd like to be treated. I believe in good karma :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I see a couch...therefore I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had one couch surfing experience back in October 08 and it was ironic because I was able to find my friends from high school that I went to school with(I move every three years), and he let me stay with him for a few days in FL while I was there for a wedding. We were able to re-connect and now my couch is his couch....actually, I owe him big time, since he gave me the master bedroom :)
