About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience life

ABOUT ME

Hey! I was born in Sydney, Australia and moved to the Central Coast of NSW when I was young. It's a quiet suburb/town 10 minutes drive from the beach, which is where I spent most of my time growing up. If I'm not overseas, this is where I'll be living in Australia.

I started learning piano when I was young, and since then have also learned to play the drums and bass guitar. Guitar will be next, hopefully! I try to sing sometimes, but I need a lot of work. :) Put me in front of any instrument and I will happily give it a go, when I am travelling it is one of the things I miss most!

After school life for me was pretty much bodyboarding(booging), hanging out at the beach, playing sports with friends, and going out every weekend. I first trekked overseas at the ripe age of 22, where I lived in Amsterdam for a few months and also visited a few other European cities.

I Started studying music back in Australia in TAFE (college) when I was 23. I really enjoyed it, but after a year I couldn't stop thinking about travelling the world! So I saved up money and travelled again, back to Europe, where I did some backpacking and worked in hostels such as the Flying pig, Amsterdam and The Drunken Monkey Hostel, Zadar, Croatia.

I'm now travelling and working in Canada! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Under certain circumstances I may not have a couch available at the moment. But you are more than welcome to contact me and if I have time we could maybe go for a drink or I could show you around the lovely Central Coast :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The hostel I work in was full and there were 3 girls who were previous guests in the reception desperately trying to find accommodation for 6 nights but they had little cash and everywhere was booked out. So I offered them to stay at mine and they came and stayed with me, and were very nice and hospitable guests. See you again soon ladies aka the factory girls!

Interests

Travelling, bodyboarding, surfing, the beach, listening to music, snowboarding learning musical instruments, sports (especially rugby league, basketball and formula 1!), meeting new people, meeting up with old friends, reading, and of course I enjoy a beer or many quite often!
