About Me
I am a graphic designer, mom, wife, business owner and much more. I live on a boat in Copenhagen with my lovely husband and our 2-year old son and Oskar the cat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't been active in the Couchsurfing community for years while i have been living with my husband on a small boat - not room for anybody else than us and the cat :) Now we have a bigger boat, a 2 year old son and a little sister on the way. The cat is still here too. The boat has a guest room, so on occasion we can take visitors. At the moment i am (quite) pregnant though, so we have decided to take it easy and not take quests for a while.
Have so far met a bunch of truly lovely people through Couchsurfing who have all contributed to my daily life in a positive way - wether it be in the form of good conversation, a fun night out, exchange of music and experiences, yummy food, exiting tales, the list goes on...First time was in Austin, Texas staying with the Soup Pedller. A fun experience that just made me continue. Latest was autumn 2015 in a small house outside Friedrichshafen, where I went with a friend for a bicycle show. Our host Beate was wonderful and we enjoyed the quiet of the woods and fields and all the great conversations in broken German/English/Spanish. Fantastic experience and Beate is now a good friend.
Interests
Right now its all about bicycles! Especially wooden ones, which I design and build here in Copenhagen together with my friend. We founded Coh&Co last year and are busy building up a business around wooden bikes, cargo bikes, bicycle culture, coffee and good people. I am also pregnant and busy raising a 2 year old, living on our boat in the middle of Copenhagen. It's al good fun and hard work at the same time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Listening to old rock mostly at the moment - Rolling Stones, Patti Smith and the like. Tinder sticks, Bright Eyes are also quite popular these days. And anything and jazz, Billie Holiday being my favourite.
I watch Ted talks, read blogs, a design related book here and there, some Patti Smith poetry, bicycle literature, magazines, social media and the news.
Latest movie that really moved me was "Amy" about Amy Winehouse.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Starting up a company is an amazing journey that makes me evolve and learn every single day.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach whatever i do myself - design, vegetarian cooking, some yoga maybe. Would like to learn more Spanish and some basic French. I know a bit about bicycles too by now.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Vegetarian cooking, conversation
