Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet new people from around the world. I've always had a wanderlust that for various reasons I haven't really been able to fulfill. I love meeting people that may be totally different from me. Learning and making friends are two of my favorite things to do (closely followed by photographing and researching) so I would like to become a part of the couchsurfing community.

As I said above one of my hobbies is just research. If I come across a topic I find interesting I will dive into it as much as my free time allows to learn more about said topic. Whether it be biographical information on an icon, the history of a cultural movement, the making of a beloved movie, a historical event or the life's work of an artist. I'm full of interesting (or useless, depending on your viewpoint) facts. I've built up a plethora of resources and I really love connecting people with information that I think they might find helpful or interesting. I have a sneaking suspicion I was a librarian in a past life.
