ABOUT ME

I am an architecture and urban design student and I live in the nicest town of Belgium, Ghent. I have a passion for music, architecture (of course..), travelling, cooking, eating, and eating some more. I love to drink a 'pintje' in one of the many nice bars in Ghent, or stay at home with friends and play records all night, or to just sit in the sun and watch people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed some couches in Europe and in South Africa (unfortunately often without my own profile) and most of the time it was a super experience!

Interests

I would love to open my own bookshop that also sells old LP's! (and then of course renovate the shop myself, to at least use my degree at some point...)

music: funk, soul, jazz (in the wintertime), reggae (in the summertime), sometimes I like Balkan and hiphop music
books: I absolutely love to read! (some of my favourite books: the god of small things (A.Roy), city (A.Baricco), the unbearable lightness of being (M.Kundera), and so on...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

drift on the Ucayali river for a week by boat, lying in a hammock to finally reach Iquitos, the city in the jungle unreachable by road
