My current mission is learning to make art.

ABOUT ME

One of my jobs is working security at concerts so I will not host for the ACL, Fun Fun Fun, or SXSW festivals.

I'm a witty, LGBTQ-friendly, huggable young man born and raised in Deep South Texas. My goal is to make the world a better place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host in Austin! I cannot host on short notice. I need at least two weeks' notice, please.

I prefer to host those who are in Austin to see the town and not trying to start their life here. It's a very different vibe than I strive for. I enjoy spending time with my surfers and showing them around so I'll usually not host if I have work scheduled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed once before. I had wonderful hosts!

Now that I've hosted a handful of travelers, I'm happy to say CS has brought me fun and interesting conversations from people near and far. I thoroughly enjoy it! My least favorite part is parting ways with surfers I've made an intense connection with.

Interests

I love making people laugh, telling true tales, talking about movies, and knowing trivial things. I also enjoy video editing, reporting, helping people, and giving free hugs.

Books: I'm not much of a reader. I'm typically more drawn to non-fiction books, like auto/biographies, for leisurely reading. That, and Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Excluding bits of border towns in Mexico, I've only left Texas three times in my life: Florida to visit family and theme parks in 1993, NYC to attend an awards ceremony for work in 2010, and NYC to see my favorite band play their last show in 2013.
