About Me

CURRENT MISSION

None, really.

ABOUT ME

I like to think I have mastered many things in my few years on this earth, most notably the art of subtle sarcasm and finding an easy way out of most any sticky situation. I am an equal opportunity lover and my main objective in life is to laugh doing so as much as possible. I pride myself most in the people I surround myself with and I find that "circle" branching in many directions as I grow. Spontaneity and generally lack of regard for what others think of you are the two traits I think would make the world a better place if everyone had. I'm currently going to grad school at Johns Hopkins, trying to save the world from itself while simultaneously figuring my way through a new city. Baltimore is no San Francisco, but it'll do pig it'll do. Honestly, I just miss the food, the people aren't bad either.

PHILOSOPHY

Never blend in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lived in an active CS house and hosted a bunch of people back in San Francisco. Did a bunch of surfing with a friend who set the whole thing up, but now that I live in Baltimore, I figured I should have my own profile.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a few people at my place in SF, and surfed across America during a road trip in June 2008.

Interests

Eating (I'm a closet foodie), swimming, anything that involves fresh air and being outdoors and just learning both from books and life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list, 10 second rundown: Christopher Guest and Coen Brothers. Whatever catches my ear. David Sedaris, Anthony Bourdain, and anything by Kurt Vonnegut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Australia for 6 months and Hawaii for 2. Also travelled all over Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Costa RIca, Brazil, Mexico and Laos. As you can tell, I love the ocean and tropical weather.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been through a lot in my life and have learned from a great deal of experiences. Just ask.
