I'm Marco, and I'm all about nature, climbing, hiking, music, street art, and science. After spending far too much time studying and working, I finally want to take some time to see more of the world. I've mostly explored Europe, but I'm itching to discover more of the world and soak in new experiences. I'm fluent in German, English and my French is not that bad either (I think)

I'm a mix of outgoing and introspective. I love a good chat when I'm comfy, but I also appreciate quiet times for reflection. I like going out and turning night into day but also love the calmness and beauty of nature. Being spontaneous and active is my thing, and I try to be friendly and thoughtful to everyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to Couchsurfing, and I'm pumped to join this cool community. I'm hoping to meet people who, like me, want real connections and genuine experiences while traveling.
I’m currently walking to the East of Belgium and would love to meet people, share stories and beers!

I just moved to England and could host. I can't wait to host Couchsurfers and share stories and adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music keeps me sane, from hard groove and house to funk, Hip hop and indie. Old bangers and 80's/90s pop are my guilty pleasure.

When it comes to books, I'm drawn to non-fiction and captivating biographies that reveal the stories of remarkable individuals, with my favourite books being The Push, a biography of a famous big wall climber and "Illuminated breath" which explores the power of breathing and its application in yoga and every day life. I’m currently reading Into the wild :)
