About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience all that the world has to offer.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 29 year old Aussie girl currently taking on the world one step and one country at a time. After living overseas, and travelling on and off for the past few years, I have now become a flight attendant to help quench my thirst for new discoveries, different cultures, unfamiliar flavours and an all over, awesome people with an enthused outlook on life.
I consider myself as being down to earth and respectful and I'm not afraid to step out of my comfort zone to try new things.
PHILOSOPHY
It's not that hard to be courteous and nice to others. I believe that you should treat others the way you would like to be treated and that the only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday. It sounds pretty corny but it's simple. Life is here to be lived so have fun an live it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Regardless if I'm home or in a new location I always see what's happening around me with couchsurfing. This platform is a fantastic was to help others out, and to receive help; whether it be a travel companion, the sharing of knowledge, a place to stay, or to just hang out with some new cool random people etc.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All my experiences regarding couchsurfing and events have been positive ones.
Interests
I love travelling, singing, dancing, camping and going to festivals. I also enjoy anything ranging from relaxing at the beach to being caught up in the tranquillity of nature and mountain climbing to being swept up in the hustle and bustle of city life.
My ultimate weakness and passion would have to be music... the great universal communicator. My musical interest include big band, alternative, indie, electronica, goa, easy listening, punk rock, metal, rap, pop, classic country (not modern country), rock, musicals, opera, 1920's-1980's, bluegrass, contemporary, classical, j-pop, folk, jazz, blues and I have volunteered for countless music festivals over the last nine years. That's the other great thing about travelling, that you discover so many other fantastic artists that you may have never heard about otherwise. This doesn't just apply to music however, it applies to all facets of life. For this reason, I believe travelling strengthens a person and makes them more open, understanding and somewhat more fulfilled.
