About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To end boredom

ABOUT ME

Well, I think most people would describe me as down-to-earth. I am a friendly, helpful, social person. I like going out and having a good time, whether its going to a local coffee shop to going out dancing til the wee morning hours. I have lived and taught in four different countries (Ireland, USA, Dominican Republic, and Germany) and hope to continue to see many more.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy can be summed up by the Golden rule: treat others as you want to be treated. I think life is to short to piss people off. Treating others the way you want to be treated makes people happy and you happy too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I am new to couch surfing, but I have co-hosted a few people and have surfed a few couches now, and went out for some social occasions with some traveling passer-bys. I want to continue to meet new people because I think the world is about building connections. If I can in some small way do that through coffee, tea, or a spare mattress, here I go!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, my friend and I couch surfed in El Salvador and it was a great experience being able to see El Salvador through the eyes of a local. He made us feel at home. Also, my roommate in the Dom Republic, hosted lots of people on our spare bed so I finally decided to do this thing for myself. Since then, I have surfed in Austria and Slovakia, and hosted/enjoyed the company of some people from France, USA, and Germany.
