ABOUT ME
I am a very energetic, passionate, and friendly person. I enjoy learning new things and making new friends!
I have a degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and work as a Research Assistant.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe we should experience life in different ways! Sometimes we need to go out of our comfort zones and immerse ourselves in other cultures. I also believe we should take care of each other and our environment!
Interests
When I'm not in the lab I love being outdoors! I love sailing, hiking, swimming, scuba diving, running, playing soccer and exploring new places. I love learning about new cultures and gaining learning new perspectives on life. I also love music! I play the french horn and love playing in orchestra. I'm finally learning the guitar! I also like to go to concerts to see live performances of any type of music. I really want to learn to dance!
O and food. Trying new foods is a hobby of mine and I'm always willing to try something new!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite directors are Guillermo del Torro and Quentin Tarantino so obviously I love Thrillers and action movies. My favorite author is Khaled Hosseini. My favorite musicians/bands include Nina Simone, Florence + the machine, Grace Potter and the nocturnals, ZZ Ward and Regina Spektor.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My Uncle works for NASA at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL. I was lucky enough to go to a special viewing of a night launch of the Space Shuttle- one of the last. Being that close to a launch was incredible.
My Mother, Sister, Brother-in-Law and I drove from Milan (My Sister and her husband live in Milan) to Zurich in a tiny red car. The Swiss Alps are spectacular! We found a little stream to play in. I couldn't help but run through a field singing "The hills are alive with the sound of music!".
I once went on a school trip to the island of Abaco in The Bahamas. The island was beautiful and the people were wonderful! While we were there we experienced so much! We saw the famous blue holes of Abaco and also helped clean up a local park.
I've been to Cuba! Many Americans do not (legally) get the chance to travel to Cuba and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity. Of the places I've visited it's definitely my favorite!
