About Me

ABOUT ME
Two of my favorite things in life are having new experiences and meeting new people. Couch Surfing allows for both! I believe that getting out of one's comfort zone whether it is through meeting new people or having new experiences expands one's horizons and world view and is terribly important in life. You never know what you are going to learn about others and yourself from these adventures!

If someone were to describe me, I would hope they would say I am a kindhearted, strong, joyful and inquisitive person.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life's a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death. Live, Agnes, LIVE!"
Auntie Mame

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro; My Antonia by Willa Cather; and non-fiction books in the broad category of international affairs

Movies: I am always down for a political thriller, a smart comedy, an inspiring sports film, or anything by Frank Capra.

Music: My music taste is rather broad and unsophisticated, but my favorite album of all time is Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water."

In all three categories I love receiving recommendations so if you have any let me know!
