About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live life to the fullest!
I seem to have found a bit of a nice "pattern" to my life. I like to live "normally" for a bit and then quit everything and take time off to travel. The longest stent off I did was about 16 months... I've buckled down again and am in Eugene ready to host.
I realize this sounds super flakey... I assure you I'm anything but. 😊
ABOUT ME
Loyal, dependable, adventurous, and independent! Love to travel, meet new people and explore the world.
Eugene things! Check out the calendar here, there are always fun things to do.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love live music of all sorts. I spend way too much money on concerts. My musical tastes are very vast. There are very few types of music that I don't enjoy. My current favorites are: Ray LaMontagne, Dave Matthews Band, Shakey Graves, The Beatles, Pearl Jam and so much more. Current musical obsessions: Lizzo and Jack White (in all that he does).
Movies include: The Goonies, Shawshank Redemption, About a Boy, Pride and Prejudice, Shark Vs. Eagle, Love Actually and too many more to name.
Books: The Secret Life of Bees, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Great Expectations, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Wild, and of course travel books of all sorts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In New Zealand, I was having an amazing time exploring on my own when a huge bumble bee landed on my nose. Such a great moment. Partly because I was on my own at a place most people don't venture to solo and also because I had been stalking those beautiful bumble bees for weeks. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Couchsurfing is really about community for me. I love meeting new people and learning about them and their lives and how they make travel a possibility. I enjoy hosting because it breaks up the monotony of my everyday life. I think I can learn something from everyone.
I'm not a fan of cooking, I can bake well but no longer do it often. I love having people cook for me. :) Going out to eat if we haven't the time for a meal is great too! I'll take you to my favorite place. Maybe you can show me yours. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, a shared meal, a pretty comfy home.
If you need help with cleaning or organizing, I'm pretty good at these things as well.
