I was born and raised in Hawaii, attended university in upstate New York, then moved to LA to join the corporate grind. I quit my job at the end of 2014, which turned out to be a great decision. My fiance and I spend the summers in Venice Beach, California running a surf school - we travel during the low season, but still handle business on the road!

I love: yoga, surfing, reading, hiking, sailing, meeting new people, spending time with loved ones, and a good drink (or two).

I love to connect with people around the world who share a similar passion for exploration, good food, interesting stories, and general thirst for life. I live my life to be happy and to love my family, friends, and significant other. I travel the world with an open mind and with an optimistic point of view.

My fiance, Patrick, and I have a two bedroom apartment - we have a large, queen sized futon and a comfy couch. Our availability is dependent on our own travel schedule and how busy we are with work.

Our intent is to host travelers, not people who live in LA and need somewhere to crash...if you'd like to stay with us, then please send a request answering at least the following three questions:

I have seen a green flash sunset in Hawaii. It was beautiful. Paddle boarding next to a harem of elephant seals. Hiking to the highest point in the Santa Monica Mountains without even realizing it. Camped within a perfect circle of huge redwood trees in Big Sur - later finding out it's called a fairy ring!
